Director Medical Affairs (DMA) – Tozorakimab

As a Director Medical Affairs (DMA) – Tozorakimab, you will be instrumental in leveraging our scientific capabilities to positively impact patients with respiratory diseases. This role demands strategic thinking, leadership, and the ability to influence and innovate in developing and executing Tozorakimab’s strategy.

Accountabilities:

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate activities and external engagements at US congresses.
  • Collaborate with advocacy groups, corporate affairs, and guideline organizations.
  • Work closely with the Medical Head and US medical team to develop medical and evidence strategies.
  • Partner with the Global Tozorakimab team for LCM indications strategy development.
  • Organize and lead medical team meetings.
  • Assist in developing and executing US advisory boards.
  • Develop training materials for field teams, including MSL teams and clinical account directors.
  • Educate respiratory Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).
  • Participate in the educational grant review and selection process (IME).
  • Monitor brand medical budget for appropriate allocation and milestone completion.
  • Coordinate medical education at regional and national professional society meetings.
  • Maintain strong alignment with the commercial team as a valued partner.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in a science-related field such as Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Medicine, or equivalent.
  • Over 3 years of experience managing programs in a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of medical strategy, clinical development, and medical science liaison areas.
  • Ability to manage diverse responsibilities effectively.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Leadership abilities.
  • Expert technical depth in biologics (preferably respiratory).
  • Strategic influencing skills.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed self-motivation/initiative.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Innovation skills to inspire new approaches in disease area, product, and pipeline management.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Doctorate in Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Medicine, or equivalent.
  • MBA.
  • Experience in respiratory therapeutic area; biologics experience favored.
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a strategy-setting role within Medical Affairs.
  • Working knowledge of FDA requirements.
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote etc.).
  • Knowledge of information/technology systems and AI.
  • Experience with social media platforms to gain insights on evolving science.
